Problem
Students and graduates do not lack access to job listings; they lack clear market intelligence. Job information is scattered, repetitive and hard to compare — especially around salary, location, role demand and remote/hybrid patterns.
Your role
I created the product concept, defined the user problem, designed the dashboard experience, structured the data model and built a functional prototype.
Process
- Initial problem statement and product thesis
- Data structure: job title, category, salary, location, remote type, company and date posted
- Dashboard wireframes for market overview, salary ranges, role demand and location breakdown
- UI decisions around dark mode, contrast, hierarchy and filtering
- Tools: Figma, Supabase, PostgreSQL, Vercel, GitHub and Google Antigravity
Final work
- Market overview dashboard
- Salary and category breakdown
- Location and remote/hybrid insight screens
- Filter states
- Prototype and build screenshots
Impact
Created a working early-stage product prototype with core architecture implemented and stakeholder validation underway. The strongest takeaway is turning a personal frustration into a structured, scalable product idea.
